International Trade City

Yiwu International Trade city  is developed after a long effort of 30 years.

In all these years thousands of stalls have come into existence which is stuffed with millions of  products. With more than four market complexes within its premises, Yiwu commodity market  has come of age and is now acknowledged as the biggest wholesale market in the world. It becomes center of approx 1,50,000 visitors every day. It is called as Futian Market.

Yiwu International Trade City – District 1

This is the biggest of all the other districts. The seven year old market has world-class infrastructure covering a vast area and thousands of shops. In fact, these all stalls are into exporting their products. The best thing is that most of the people can communicate a little in English.

This part of the market houses shipping agents, various eateries and banks etc. Therefore, sourcing from here is quite easy. First floor deals with toys and artificial flowers; second floor is for jewelry and lots more is there to explore. However, fourth floor is only for factory outlets and the variety is also limited here.

Yiwu International Trade City – District 2

It’s a 5-storey- building and has an area of more than 600,000 m2. There are over 10,000 shops on just three floors. Floor one deals into rainwear, bags & brief cases, umbrellas, are located. Locks and auto products, hardware and hardware accessories, electrical accessories can be found on floor two. A lot is there on the third floor for the ones yearning to buy miscellaneous stuff for their homes.

And the fourth floor here too houses factory outlets. Hong Kong Mall, South Korean Mall and Sichuan Mall are also located on this floor. In District 2 there are shipping agents, banks, restaurants, telecom companies and a four-star hotel.

Yiwu International Trade City – District 3

District 3 is a five-storey building spread across 460,000 m2 with over 7000 shop fronts. Different floors deal into different products. First floor and second floor are for pens, glasses, sports products, office articles and paper products. Third floor and 4th floor are for cosmetics and the products used in fashion industry. Facilities like accommodation, catering and entertainment, logistics, banking, are also there in this district.

Yiwu International Trade City – District 4

This is the youngest and well-developed district of all. Its total area covers 1,008,000 m2 and has over 19,000 shops. This district is greener and environmental-friendly. First floor is for socks and the second r is for textile, gloves, and hats. Third floor is for shoes, ribbons, laces, ties, threads, and towels. Fourth floor deals into bras, under wears, belts, and shawls. It is replete with various amenities for entertainment and even energy saving systems.

Given the huge markets in Yiwu City, make sure you sport comfortable outfits to avoid any fatigue.
